Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Payment Companion Pro, a paid subscription service operated by AutoCompanion LLC (“AutoCompanion,” “we,” “us”) at autocompanion.com. By creating a Pro account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pro.

Payment Companion Lite, the free calculator, is governed by the disclaimer published alongside it. Where Lite and Pro overlap, these terms control for Pro.

Pro supplies residual values, money factors, and incentive program data reflecting current manufacturer lease and finance programs, together with tools for building, comparing, and saving deal scenarios.

Pro provides estimates for comparison only. It does not provide quotes, offers, credit approvals, or guarantees of eligibility or savings. AutoCompanion is not a lender, a dealer, a broker in this capacity, or an agent of any of them. No manufacturer or captive lender has reviewed, endorsed, or verified Pro.

Program data changes without notice. Coverage varies by brand, lender, vehicle, region, and month, and some vehicles or programs may not be available in our data at any given time. We do not warrant that any particular vehicle, program, term, or region is or will remain covered.

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@autocompanion.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts are for a single user. Do not share credentials, and do not use Pro on behalf of another business without our written agreement.

Pro is sold as a subscription. You choose one of these plans when you subscribe:

Your subscription begins on the date your first payment is processed. At the end of each billing period it renews automatically at your plan's price, and we charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; see Section 6.

When your subscription ends, your access to Pro features and program data ends with it. Your saved deal scenarios stay in your account and are available again if you subscribe later. To have them deleted, email support@autocompanion.com.

Each payment is due in full at the start of the period it covers and is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Pro includes up to 50 program lookups per month of your subscription. A program lookup is a single request for current lender program data covering one vehicle and term.

Unused lookups do not carry over to the following month. If you reach the limit, program data stops returning until the next month of your subscription begins. Contact us at support@autocompanion.com if you need a higher limit.

Pro is licensed for your own vehicle shopping. If your use is consistent with a dealer, broker, or other commercial operation, we may require you to move to a different arrangement, or may suspend access under Section 8.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. On the 1-month plan, the 2-month minimum is paid when you subscribe, so your access runs to the end of those 2 months even if you cancel sooner.

If you want a refund, email support@autocompanion.com. We will refund your payment in full if you ask within seven days of subscribing and have used fewer than five program lookups. Outside that, payments are not refundable in whole or in part, and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

If we discontinue Pro during your billing period, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

We may change the price of Pro. A new price applies only to subscriptions started after it takes effect. It does not change the price of a subscription you already have, including its renewals.

Pro is licensed to you for your own vehicle shopping. You may not:

• copy, scrape, harvest, export in bulk, republish, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the program data or any substantial part of it;
• use automated means to access Pro, or circumvent the usage limits in Section 5 or any other rate limit or access control;
• use Pro to build or train a competing product, dataset, or model;
• share your account, or make Pro available to third parties as a service;
• remove or obscure any notice of ownership or attribution;
• use Pro unlawfully, or in a way that damages or overburdens the service.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, without refund where the breach is material.

Pro, its software, interface, text, and design are owned by AutoCompanion and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pro. No other rights are granted.

Program data made available through Pro is licensed from third parties and remains the property of its owners. Your right to use it is limited to viewing it within Pro for your own vehicle shopping.

All manufacturer, lender, and model names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Pro is an informational tool. Nothing in it is financial, tax, legal, or credit advice, and nothing in it is an offer of credit. Your final terms depend on credit approval, credit tier, program eligibility, dealer participation, state and local rules, and the contract you sign. Any deal you negotiate or sign using these figures is your own responsibility. Verify every figure against the dealer’s itemized worksheet before signing.

Pro is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoCompanion disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Pro will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure, program, or availability shown is accurate, complete, or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoCompanion will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of Pro, including any reliance on a figure that proves inaccurate or out of date.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Pro will not exceed the amount you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify AutoCompanion against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of Pro or of the program data, or any deal you enter into.

You may stop using Pro at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law or by a data license, or if we discontinue Pro. If we discontinue Pro, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

We may update these terms. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date and, where the change is material, give notice by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Updated terms apply to subscriptions started after the effective date, and to an existing subscription from its first renewal after that date. Until then, the terms you agreed to continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or to Pro will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
